Our Story
A journey from corporate burnout to natural wellness
Our Discovery
For over two decades, our founder navigated the intense corporate landscape across Asia—Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai. The demanding schedule took its toll: endless coffee to stay alert during board meetings, energy drinks before presentations, sleeping pills to combat jet lag.
"I was trapped in a cycle of artificial highs and chemical crashes. I knew there had to be a better way."
During a business trip to northern Thailand in 2019, a local farmer introduced me to something remarkable—Hirsuta, a rare botanical from the same plant family as coffee (without the caffeine), cultivated for generations in the highlands.
Whilst similar effects, unlike the controversial kratom that had gained notoriety in the West, Hirsuta offered something different: a naturally balanced experience that could provide both clean energy and deep relaxation, depending on the strain and preparation.
Four Years of Research
What started as curiosity became an obsession. I spent the next four years traveling between Bangkok and the northern highlands, learning everything about Hirsuta cultivation, harvesting, and preparation.
Working with botanists to understand the plant's alkaloid profile. I studied traditional preparation methods passed down through generations. I documented the differences between white vein (energizing), green vein (balanced), and red vein (relaxing) varieties.
The breakthrough came when I partnered with three family-owned farms that had perfected sustainable, organic cultivation methods over 50 years.
These farms didn't use pesticides. They rotated crops naturally. They harvested by hand, selecting only mature leaves at peak alkaloid content. The quality was unlike anything available in Western markets.
